Victoria’s first love was storytelling. She was determined to be an author in some capacity when she grew up, but as it turns out, she’s quite awful at writing. She found herself preferring to draw, paint, and even build websites about her stories instead. And so, graphic design was suggested to her as a career alternative. That sounded like a good idea, and she went on to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communication Design from the University of Indianapolis.
As it turns out, there is a lot of storytelling that goes on in marketing. Victoria’s favorite part of being a graphic designer at Xylem Marketing is communicating the stories and visual image of the brands she represents through print collateral, product packaging, and even the occasional website project.
Outside of work, Victoria enjoys thrift shopping, overwatering her many houseplants, and treading water with her trusty inflatable kayak.

Graphic Design Intern
Samantha is thrilled to be a part of Xylem Marketing as a Spring 2022 Graphic Design Intern. She has spent the better part of her life dedicated to becoming a digital artist in some capacity. Growing up and watching her mother design and be a designer really sparked her “artist brain”. Samantha is a Junior at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Visual Communication and Design.
Samantha loves the aspect of human centered design. She believes that design is meant to involve the human perspective. Understanding users as people instead of data helps her connect with her work and create empathy for those she is designing for.
